Set in an historic 130 acre site it was once home to Florence Nightingale. HCS is a co-educational school for pupils from Nursery to 6th Form, with distinct Prep and Senior Schools. The new Principal (Jan 2014) and Academic Deputy Head (Sept 2014) have provided a renewed emphasis on combining academic excellence with broader achievements.
