Child Student Visa

A Child Student Visa (formerly known as Tier 4 Child Student Visa) is for students who are 4-17 years old and plan on studying at an independent school in the UK. Applicants can apply for this visa if:

  • they have received an unconditional offer of a place on a course at an independent school
  • they have enough money to support themselves during their studies (A proof of financial competence will be required)
  • they can present confirmation of their parents or legal guardian consent to study in the UK
