Boarders live in a purpose-built, university-style boarding development on the school site, overlooking the playing fields. Its 122 single en-suite bedrooms are arranged in two houses, Mill Hill and Hough House, one for girls and one for boys, linked by a central building with a café, dining and communal areas and a courtyard. Each house has kitchens, common rooms and laundry facilities, and the building is fully accessible. Houseparents lead the houses with Assistant House Managers, Resident Tutors and Overnight Tutors, many of whom also teach at the school.
Boarders follow a stable daily routine with set time for academic work, and in the evenings the café becomes a study space reserved for boarders. Weekends combine group trips with smaller outings, from London, the opera and the ballet to paintballing, escape rooms, cinema nights and shopping, alongside quiz, karaoke and spa nights in the house. The sports facilities are open seven days a week.
The Learning Support department, led in the Senior School by a dedicated SENDCo, supports pupils with needs including dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, anxiety and emotional difficulties, moderate learning difficulties, and sensory and physical needs, within the capacity of the school. A Director of Pupil Wellbeing leads pastoral care in the Senior School alongside the boarding team.

A UK student guardian must be a responsible adult, usually aged 25 or over, who lives permanently in the UK, speaks fluent English and is close enough to the school to respond quickly in an emergency; many boarding schools set a maximum travel time. The guardian must be contactable 24 hours a day and hold an Enhanced DBS check where they or their household host the student.
